
We are delighted to welcome you back to the Emerald Isle for the second time this year, and the 8th edition of Countdown in Dublin. What a great excuse for a holiday to see what Ireland has to offer, along with a spot of Countdown of course.

Games to be played: Eight 9 round games in Bristol Style
Refreshments: Some kind of lunch will be provided, tea/coffee available all day, plenty of shops nearby
Finishes by: 5pm
Wheelchair accessible?: No
Parking onsite?: Limited on street parking. Best Value is at Blackrock Dart Station at a cost of €6 for the day.
Format: The format will be Bristol Style Classroom format with all rounds on screen. eight 9 round games will be played, with the top 2 facing off in a 14 round final.

Post-event group meal plans: After the event we will likely book tables for the Blackrock, a bar/restaurant across the road and have food and drinks. Let me know if you’re in.

Public transport: For those day tripping there is a very reliable air coach service which goes from Dublin Airport to outside Blackrock Shopping centre, a 5 minute walk from the venue. Easy drop off and pick up. Blackrock is well served by the 4 and 7 buses which you can get from O’Connel St/ Nassau St.
Blackrock is also well served by the DART with the station only 5 mins walk from the venue.
