FOCAL returns to Manchester in 2023! Host James Robinson is back and this time we’re going back to Lincoln style for our event in the capital of the North.

Where: Trafford Social Club, 68 Derbyshire Lane, Stretford, Manchester M32 8BF (map)
Presented by: James Robinson.
Format: ‘Lincoln style’, each player will play six 9-rounder games.
Admission: £10 per person, payable here (please remember to choose ‘Friends and Family’ option)
Start: 10:00am doors for a prompt 11am start, please arrive by 10:45am
Finished by: 17:45-18:00
Wheelchair accessible?: Yes (via stairlift)

The Venue, Travel, and Accommodation

Our venue is the Trafford Social Club, just to the southwest of Manchester city centre, not far from the current home of Countdown at MediaCity UK.

It is close to Trafford Park railway station, or Stretford tram stop on the Manchester Metrolink, if you take the tram towards Altrincham.

Or if you’re driving yourself, there are nearby Pay & Display car parks around the Stetford tram stop.

There is a bar open at the venue but no food is provided, so feel free to grab some lunch from a local shop or eatery.

For hotels, there is a wealth of options available towards central Manchester, or on the other side of the venue there’s a Travelodge not far away in Sale.

Parkrun

For all the keen co:parkrunners, Alexandra parkrun is a parkrun’s distance away from the venue, and boasts one of the fastest parkrun courses in the country in a very nice park.

Entry fee

Entry is just £10 per person, payable here.
