FOCAL is coming to Warwickshire for the first time! 10 years after the 2013 Co:Leamington event that predated FOCAL, we are coming to Rugby in March 2023 thanks to the hosting of Co:Brum host MSR and Countdown Series 83 champion Adam Latchford.

When: Saturday 18th March 2023
Where: Rugby West Indian Association, 102 Railway Terrace, Rugby, CV21 3HE (map)
Presented by: Matthew S Rutherford (MSR) and Adam Latchford.
Format: ‘Lincoln style’, each player will play eight 9-rounder games.
Admission: £10 per person, payable here
Start: 10:00am doors for a 10:30am start, please arrive by 10:45am
Finished by: 17:30

The Venue, Travel, and Accommodation

Our venue is the wonderful Rugby West Indian Association, less than 10 minutes’ walk from Rugby railway station, which has regular trains from Birmingham and Nuneaton (change from Leicester or Peterborough).

Or if you’re driving yourself, there are nearby Pay & Display car parks just a short walk down the road on Railway Terrace. Please be aware that the John Barford multistorey car park is locked at 7pm!

Please note that venue policy requires under-18s to be accompanied by an adult, and no alcohol is to be brought on site. Save your drinks for the pub afterwards

For hotels, there is a Travelodge next to the train station, plus other otpions available locally.

Lunch is not provided but there are many nearby shops including a Tesco Express by the Travelodge and a WHSmith in the train station.

10:00 Doors open
10:15: First round draw is made – please try and arrive by 10:15
10:30 First round starts
11:45: Lunch break
12:45: Second round starts
14:00: Third round starts
15:15: Fourth round starts
16:30: Grand final
17:00: Prizegiving
17:30: Evening plans a-brewing. Stay tuned!

For all the keen co:parkrunners, Rugby parkrun is just over a mile away from the venue.

Entry is just £10 per person, payable here.
